Good place for Duck
DESCRIPTION: We have visited this restaurant twice and were pleased both times. It is a small place with about 8 or 10 booths and two large tables as well as a drive up window that was quite popular. My companion thoughly enjoyed the Orange Duck special. The portions were generous and the sauce was not over powering. On my first visit I had one of the dishes marked as "spicy" and asked for medium intensity. This was quite bland, so on my next visit I requested "hot" and was not disappointed. Our first visit was at lunch time and the service was prompt and courteous. Our second try was for an early dinner and most of the wait staff had not arrived yet so one waitress was handling 7 or 8 parties which she did quite well (the orders were accurate and delivered together) but she was very busy so the attention was not what you would normally expect. We will definately eat here again.

DESCRIPTION: The actual food was good. I got the shrimp and crab fettucini and a friend got the large fishermans platter. This was probably a good thing because if we hadn't agreed to each share half of the other's meal, my friend would have went very hungry... The large platter consisted of 8 shrimp, and 8 oysters... and a very small baked potato. My fettucini was a little more giving on the portion, but i was definately slighted on the shrimp and never did find any crab in it anywhere. It took thirty minutes just to get our drinks, another 45 to get our food. (the salad bar was lettuce and 2 choices of dressing by the way & they were out of the clam chowder. they were supposed to have 3 soup choices, but only the empty chowder pot.) we were there for 2 and a half hours... we left hungrier than when we arrived. The waiter was extremely nice though, it's not his fault they gave such small portions. SOOOO... the seafood is really really good, they just don't give you enough to even taste it.

Great Italian Restaurant
DESCRIPTION: We have had lunch at Romano's 4 times and each experience has been very satisfying. The portions have been generous and well prepared. Tasty but not over-spiced. This far exceeds the typical strip mall pizza/Italian restaurants that abound in this area. The service has been attentive but not intrusive. We have had three different waitresses and all have serve us well. This is a small, clean place with nice ambiance. They offer a good selection of wines by the bottle as well as house wine (Merlot, Chianti and Chardonnay) by the carafe. We will be back soon to try the evening menu.
