DESCRIPTION: This April (2001) my wife and I drove from Fort Lauderdale to Key West. When we were planning the trip I told my wife we had to stop by a restaurant in Islamorada that I had been to in 1966 while on a fishing vacation. When we arrived at mile marker 81.5 and pulled into the parking lot of Sid and Roxies Green Turtle Inn it still seemed like 1966, it was just as I remembered. We were seated in the bar and enjoyed a great lunch of conch chowder, crab cakes and hot pastrami sandwich. For dessert we had their Key Lime pie, which my wife said was the best she had during the entire trip. When you are in the keys make sure to have lunch or dinner (complete with magic show) at the Green Turtle Inn. A Two Thumbs Up!

Great Place
DESCRIPTION: Great Food - Great People - good prices. We stayed in Islamorada for four days and ate breakfast at the Islamorada Rest and Bakery each day. It was great.

Great Place
DESCRIPTION: We were in Islamorada for about 4 days around this past Thanksgiving. We ate breakfast at this great place every day even though there were others on our list. Food was great. Price is reasonable. Employees all have great attitudes and are very helpful. Very pleasnat time while eating there. Ambiance was run of the mill but that was not why we chose to eat there!

DESCRIPTION: What can I say- The service is impeccable; the food even better. No matter what your tastes for breakfast are they have it. Ever tried fish for breakfast? Try the grouper with eggs; sound weird... well you eat steak for breakfast. You have to try this dish- I am a baker and the pastries are even better than I can make. DESCRIPTION: When staying in Islamorada, this is a must for breakfast. Fabulous warm frosted cinnamon rolls, sticky buns, and other pastries! Also, traditional breakfast with a wide selection, including many eggs dishes, country sausage, and fruit offerings. Forget the continental breakfast at your motel, this is a winner.

PAPA JOE'S IS THE GREASTEST
DESCRIPTION: Papa Joe's is the GREASTEST all the food is to die for ....BUT THE SEAFOOD BISQUE IS TO KILL FOR....I am making a pot of it now ...it still doesen't taste like PAPA JOE'S.. no one can make it like PAPA JOE...I have tried seafood bisque all over the USA and no one can even come close....We just love to go there beside the SEAFOOD BISQUE THE PEOPLE OUR GREAT ...WE HAVE ALWAYS FELT SO WELCOME.

DESCRIPTION: Since changing hands, we thought the overall ratings would be better, but; the place is dirty in appearance and needs remodeling. The wait and service staff do not know their jobs and can use education on knowing the menu and preparation. Our party of four who are locals do not plan to return.

Awful
DESCRIPTION: One of the most improbable combinations of fish and fruit was my unlucky choice. This place claims "gourmet," and perhaps it once was, but no more. Service is condescending. Food is just not good. Ambiance could have been better but the place was just gloomy.

DESCRIPTION: I just got back from Florida, and I was at some very swank restaurants in Miami but Morada Bay is by far is the nicest place I've ever been! The food is amazing and the view is breathtaking to put it lightly. The tiki style dining area on the beach is beautiful (especially at night with a nice female). This place will score you some serious points, fellas, and on top of that the New York striploin is the best steak I've had. This place is amazing. It is well worth the money.

Unmatched
DESCRIPTION: I'm from Miami and brought the family hear this past past week. All I have to say is that this place goes unmatched for beachfront restaurants. I am 71 years of age and have been all over both coasts including the Pacific Coast highway, but this restaurant clearly topped all the places I have been. All I can say is that everyone should be blessed to have eaten here with family and friends at least once in there lifetime.

The Perfect Beach Restaurant
DESCRIPTION: My fiancee and I were recently stayed at The Moorings and they suggested dinner at Morada Bay on our last night. It was the best meal, in the best environment that I have EVER eaten. We still talk about it and cannot wait to return.

The Perfect Spot
DESCRIPTION: My husband and I stayed at the Moorings for our honeymoon in 2001. We dined at the nearby Morada Bay Restaurant and it was just wonderful. Eating while watching the sunset was heavenly. That was the best meal we've ever had. We'll definately be going back.

Romance in Paradise
DESCRIPTION: We were vacationing in the Key West and stumbled upon the Morada Bay Restaurant by accident. What a wonderful surprise! The romance of the setting sun on a beautiful white sandy beach with live music and delicious entrees was nothing short of paradise. We both felt that we had discovered paradise--Morada Bay Restaurant is the most beautiful spot. It would be difficult, if not impossible, to find a more romantic, breathtaking location to share with someone special!
