Awesome Place to Chill Out with Friends!
DESCRIPTION: Uncle Lou's serves up the best Boar's Head hot dogs with all the trimmings and toppings you could want. The outside deck is perfect for hanging out at the beach with friends, and they have the cheapest beer around! The new owner has Happy Hour every day and live music on Fridays. The food is hot, the beer is cold and the staff is cool. This place has definitely turned around for the better!

This Place Rocks!
DESCRIPTION: Uncle Lou's is a great place to hang out at the Beach, have a Boar's Head hot dog and a cold beer. They have live music on Friday's, Happy Hour every day and the new owner is very customer-oriented. The staff is cool and the food is always hot. The prices can't be beat, especially the beer even without Happy Hour specials!

DESCRIPTION: Good food, quiet atmosphere and polite servers make this a favorite spot. It can be hectic on weekends, but is consistently good. Smoking is not permitted; adding to the ambience. Appears to be nice and clean.

Great Food!
DESCRIPTION: The food was good. This placce is 1000 times better than the "other" location on the west side. The difference is night and day. The service is better, the cleanliness is much better, and the workers are a lot more competent. Stay away from the west side location at all costs!

Beach = Good, Westside = BAD
DESCRIPTION: The food, service, cleanliness, and atmosphere is WAY better than the Westside location. I felt like I was in a police lineup at the Westside RP's. I enjoyed the food more at the beach location, the chicken fingers weren't as greasy as they are at the westside location. I agree with the privios poster, stay away from the westside location AT ALL COSTS!

Fabulous European/German/Continental Food
DESCRIPTION: Three internationally reknowned chefs host this wonderful restaurant. They have cooked for kings and queens, movie stars, at least one president, the Rockefeller family, former Mayor John Lindsay, and Lee Iacocca. One was the corporate chef for Nestle Co., the NYC mayoral mansion and the Pentagon. Uli's European Restaurant consistently is awarded the local dining and gourmet awards. It is an unparalleled gem of a restaurant.
